Say hello to Ricky Bobby! One of our dedicated foster families received a phone call from a family member that their co-worker had moved and left their dog tied to a tree. Outside. In the rain. DAYS before the call. What was their first reaction? Go get him! Despite being full with their own dogs, foster dogs and a baby they went and picked him up without hesitation. Ricky Bobby was sitting in the cold rain when they arrived and really didn't have much of a reaction to anything, acting very indifferent and reluctant. He was in good physical shape, but his spirit had taken a hit. A few days of TLC in his wonderful new foster home has changed that! He loves to cuddle, is calm around their baby and is generally just enjoying a safe, warm and happy home. Ricky Bobby has been fully vaccinated, is heartworm negative (Yay!), on heartworm preventative, and has been neutered & microchipped.
